Bridging Borders, Amplifying Influence: A Recap of Our Week in New York with Grow London Global

Last week, we had the honour of joining some of London’s most ambitious scale-ups on the Grow London Global Trade Mission to New York City—a vibrant intersection of innovation, culture, and commerce, supported by the Mayor of London.


To our CEO and Managing Director Carol Chan, representing both InfluenConnect™ and Comms8, this wasn’t just a business trip—it was a statement. A statement about London’s global outlook, and about the power of connection in an age where influence knows no borders.


As a platform built to connect brands with diverse voices across Asia and beyond, our journey to New York felt especially meaningful. We weren’t just there to talk shop. We were there to listen, to learn, and to engage in purposeful conversations around identity, creativity, and what global brand building really looks like in 2025.


From energising conversations with fellow changemakers, to engaging with industry leaders shaping the future of retail and tech in the US, namely Mondelez International, TD Cowen, Audible, Samsung, Amazon, and Walmart—the week reminded us that cross-border collaboration isn’t just about entering a new market—it’s about opening new mindsets.


Being selected by Grow London Global—a programme supported by the Mayor of London—was a proud milestone for us. It reinforced everything we believe in at InfluenConnect™: that growth isn’t measured solely in metrics, but in the stories we tell, the people we empower, and the partnerships we build along the way.


We leave New York inspired and recharged—more dedicated than ever to helping brands connect across languages, cultures, and borders with purpose and authenticity.
